About the Company
Our client is one of India’s leading digital payments platforms, backed by a global technology leader. The company helps millions of customers across
India pay for everyday needs — from UPI payments, bill payments, and recharges to travel bookings, insurance, and merchant payments. Its design
team crafts experiences and communication across the entire payments journey: brand campaigns, product marketing, in-app experiences,
merchant-facing creatives, and large-scale festive and sale-event moments.
(Company name will be disclosed to shortlisted candidates.)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Creative Project Manager to be the operational backbone of the design team. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of creative
projects — from large-scale brand and festive campaigns to product launch assets, social content, and merchant communication — ensuring work moves smoothly from brief to final delivery, on time and at an exceptionally high quality bar.
You’ll sit at the intersection of creativity and execution: translating ambiguous asks from marketing, product, and business teams into clear briefs,
protecting designers’ time to do great work, and keeping stakeholders aligned at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery - Own the full lifecycle of design projects: scoping, timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and delivery. - Translate requests from marketing, product, and business teams into clear, actionable creative briefs. - Build and maintain project schedules; proactively flag risks, bottlenecks, and scope creep — especially during high-velocity periods like sale events and festive campaigns. - Manage multiple concurrent projects across brand, digital, social, and in-app surfaces.
Team & Resource Management - Allocate work across designers, illustrators, motion artists, copywriters, and external agency/freelance partners
based on skills, bandwidth, and priorities. - Run stand-ups, weekly status reviews, and project retrospectives. - Coordinate with external agencies, production houses, and vendors, including scope, timelines, and cost tracking.
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Communication - Act as the primary point of contact between the design studio and stakeholders across the organization. - Manage feedback loops: consolidate inputs from multiple teams, resolve conflicting feedback, and keep revisions within scope. -
Present timelines, progress updates, and delivery plans to leadership through clear, structured written communication.
Process & Quality - Establish and continuously improve creative workflows, review mechanisms, and documentation. - Maintain project management and asset management systems (Asana / Jira / similar tools). - Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and legal/compliance requirements for financial services communication. - Track project metrics, team utilization, and delivery health; build processes that scale.
Basic Qualifications
4–7 years of project/program management experience, with at least 2 years in a creative, design, or agency environment.
Proven track record of delivering multi-channel creative projects (brand, digital, social, video, in-app).
Strong working knowledge of design and production processes — you understand how creative work gets made and how long it actually takes.
Hands-on experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar).
Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) — enough to review files, manage handoffs, and speak the team’s language.
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable managing senior stakeholders and negotiating priorities.
Exceptional organization and attention to detail; calm under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or another high-growth consumer tech environment.
Experience managing large-scale campaign moments (sale events, festive campaigns, product launches).
Understanding of compliance/legal review processes for regulated categories such as financial services.
Familiarity with motion/video pipelines and digital ad production at scale.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) — a plus, not a must.
What We Value
Customer obsession — every creative decision starts with the customer.
Ownership — you own delivery end to end; nothing is “someone else’s job.”
Bias for action — speed matters; you unblock teams and keep work moving.
High standards — you protect the quality bar even under deadline pressure.
Delivering results — on time, at quality, every time.
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
Projects consistently ship on time with fewer last-minute escalations, including during peak sale events.
Designers have clear briefs, realistic timelines, and protected focus time.
Stakeholders know exactly where every project stands without having to ask.
A repeatable, documented workflow exists from intake to delivery.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual
