Your Role
We are looking for a Project Manager who has mature experience in managing outsourcing projects that deliver 3D and technical game assets. The ideal candidate would be a strategic thinker, excellent organizer, relationship-builder and effective communicator. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our creative projects are delivered successfully.
You’ll work closely with the art team in Envar’s Outsourcing department, as well as Envar’s partners. There will be multiple projects on your hand for you to plan, set up, manage and deliver with high quality standards. Your leadership skills, positive energy and focus on relationship building will help the studio operate at peak performance.
This is a freelance position.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management: Ensure that the planning, setup, progress, timeline, expenses and documentation of multiple projects are on track.
- Delivery: Ensure project deliveries are timely, high-quality and valuable.
- Clarity: Ensure that there is a smooth and effective flow of information and communication throughout the projects.
- Scheduling: Assist with scheduling and planning for our artists, ensuring they are occupied by one project at all times.
- Artist management: Keep track of the artists' deliverables and accountabilities.
- General Support: Support both artists and clients during the project journey.
- Client relationship: Build and maintain a strong, trusting, long-term partnership with clients.
- Optimization: Execute and improve current processes, methods, approach, flow, tool utilization and pipeline.
- Resource management: Manage and balance the project resources at hand.
- Risk Management: Identify & mitigate potential risks. Achieving successful solutions.
- Quality: Contribute to upholding the team's quality of work.
Qualifications
- 2D game art pipeline: In-depth knowledge on 2D game art pipeline and workflow. Proficiency in Photoshop
- Experience: at least 2 years of working experience directly managing 2D game art
- projects.
- Self leadership: Actively seek to understand and fulfill expectations autonomously.
- Detail-Oriented: High degree of accuracy in documentation and task management.
- Organization: Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)
- Documentations: Experience in writing routines and guidelines
- Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Bonus Points
- Experience using project management tools like Favro or Miro.
- Experience in training / mentoring
- An art-related degree / diploma
- Language skills in Mandarin / French / Korean.
