You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors while minimizing environmental impact. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and more), oversee risk assessments, and implement emergency plans, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of ensuring compliance with Alstom’s EHS standards and tools, but also monitor and mitigate risks related to historical pollution.
We’ll look to you for:
• Supporting Project Management in achieving EHS performance goals
• Ensuring EHS risk assessments are conducted and appropriate measures are implemented
• Preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans at the project level
• Monitoring and managing subcontractor activities to ensure EHS compliance
• Assisting, coaching, and assessing EHS teams in projects
• Communicating with social and medical partners about EHS matters
• Deploying Alstom EHS standards and tools, such as the Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and Transport Operational Performance in Environment (TOPE)
• Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements
• Maintaining appropriate records and documentation
• Preparing and implementing EHS training and communication plans
• Investigating and analyzing accidents/incidents and sharing lessons learned
• Submitting monthly EHS reports and ensuring data quality

• University degree in Engineering or Business
• Health & Safety qualification recognized by local authorities (mandatory)
• Environmental qualification at diploma or degree level (desirable)

• Knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001
• Deep knowledge of local legal requirements
• Experience in railway projects (desirable)
