Full description

Your area of work:

Within the CTO division, we operate and develop Deutsche Börse Group's group-wide IT infrastructure — spanning networks, data centers, cloud environments, our AI-driven SDLC platform, Group Data & Advanced Analytics, and Enterprise Architecture. As a Senior Infrastructure DevOps Engineer, you will take end-to-end ownership of the infrastructure reliability and security posture of our Agent Hub & Agent Chain platform: an event-driven, multi-agent orchestration system serving 1,000+ developers across all divisions. You will play a central role in shaping a regulated, high-availability environment governed by EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clusters on GCP (with planned Azure extension), ensuring high availability, auto-scaling, and disaster recovery for the Agent Chain platform.
  • Implement and enforce strict DevSecOps pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, integrating GHAS, Fortify, SonarQube, Aquasec, Black Duck, and Artifactory to systematically eliminate vulnerabilities before deployment.
  • Develop and maintain all infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring reproducible, auditable, and version-controlled environments — including ephemeral sandboxes for agentic AI workloads.
  • Build comprehensive observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) that enable proactive monitoring and rapid incident response across the multi-agent orchestration platform.
  • Automate SBOM/CBOM generation and compliance-as-code controls to satisfy EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2 requirements, ensuring every agent action is versioned and logged at the infrastructure level.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and platform architects to bridge legacy infrastructure (25,000+ repositories, Jira On-Premise) with the target GitHub EU Cloud environment, maintaining uninterrupted service throughout.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and at least one major cloud platform — GCP strongly preferred — including networking, IAM, and security hardening.
  • Proven track record building and operating CI/CD pipelines with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and DevSecOps toolchains (GHAS, Fortify, SonarQube, Aquasec, Black Duck, Artifactory).
  • Deep understanding of container security, supply-chain integrity (SBOM/CBOM), ephemeral environment provisioning, and production observability at scale.
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to lead infrastructure decisions, drive operational excellence, and communicate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Would be an advantage:

  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001) in a financial services context.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML serving infrastructure or agent orchestration platforms (e.g., LangGraph).

You can look forward to our benefit package:
