Full description
About the work
Our customer provides a code quality and code security platform. Stride delivers their high-touch onboarding program for strategic customers as a partner. Each engagement runs about 60 hours over roughly 90 days: a maturity assessment, a roadmap workshop, then a tailored set of trainings and advisory sessions with weekly cadence calls.
Scope note: the work is strictly advisory (assessments, training, best-practice guidance, roadmaps). No hands-on implementation in customer environments.
What you'll do
- Run maturity assessments of partner’s customer platforms and debrief findings with stakeholders
- Lead roadmap workshops that turn findings into a prioritized execution plan
- Deliver trainings and workshops: developer best practices, IDE adoption, quality gates and governance for managers, security, and compliance audiences
- Advise on integrating SonarQube scans into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Guide heavier initiatives: server-to-cloud migration, Enterprise-to-Data Center upgrades, monitoring, instance consolidation
- Run weekly cadence calls and own deliverables: assessment findings, roadmap doc, mid-point status update
Must-haves (these come straight from Sonar's partner requirements)
- Software development and/or DevOps background: SDLC, CI/CD, IDEs
- Hands-on experience with DevOps platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket) and/or CI tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines)
- Working knowledge of local and cloud deployment tech: Linux, Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Terraform
- Customer-facing experience in a technical setting: educating on best practices, acting as a trusted technical advisor
Nice-to-haves
- SonarQube or SonarLint familiarity
- AppSec literacy: SAST, secrets detection, SCA, dependency and license risk
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows
- Experience running structured consulting engagements independently
Training provided
Customer certifies whoever we staff before they deliver: a few hours of required Learning Center courses plus a 6-hour bootcamp with a customer Technical Advisor.
