Garmin Connect Mobile is our best known, Fitness and Outdoor power-house companion app catering tens of millions of users and supporting an ever-growing number of compatible Garmin devices. The feature set is very rich and targets our complex user base with running, cycling, wellness, training, smartwatch, golfing, diving, and even pregnancy tracking feature.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require 5 days in the office each week. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development.

• Good knowledge of SwiftUI + UIKit, Modern Concurrency, Modular app, working with SPM modules, MVVM and Router navigation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, enthusiasm, strong work ethic.
• Process-oriented with deep attention to details and ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team for problem solving and solution development.
• BSc in Computer Science, IT or similar.
• Proficiency in English.
• Would be considered a plus experience with Bluetooth, Promises, Swift UI, Combine and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
