About Nordic Air Defence
Nordic Air Defence, headquartered in Stockholm, develops cutting-edge defensive solutions for both civilian and military applications. We combine expertise in electronics, mechanical design, embedded systems, software engineering, and AI.
In September 2024, Nordic Air Defence unveiled its first product, the Kreuger 100, a dual-use drone-interceptor platform engineered in Sweden by a diverse, international team. The Role
This is a full-time, on-site role in Stockholm. As IT Support Engineer, you will own and support the day-to-day IT environment across our offices, production facilities, and flight-test operations.
You will provide hands-on support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts and devices, and help maintain secure and reliable IT systems.
This is a highly practical role. You will be expected to move quickly, understand real systems, and solve messy problems with users, engineers, and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, workstations, mobile devices, printers, meeting-room equipment, and other IT hardware.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective, including equipment, accounts, permissions, and documentation.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, licences, email, collaboration tools, and identity-management systems.
- Manage and support telephony, communication, and collaboration systems to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, systems administration, cloud systems or a similar hands-on IT role.
- Strong practical knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Linux, and common workplace IT environments.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 or similar cloud-based productivity and identity platforms.
- Experience with cybersecurity and information security, including security best practices, access control, endpoint security, and incident handling.
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Desirable:
- Experience in defence, aerospace, robotics, autonomy, or similar
- Experience in a fast paced startup or scaleup company
- Experience with cloud based infrastructure, DevOps, Gitlab, and CI
