The Opportunity
As a Senior Product Manager for Protections, you will join a world-class team of product leaders dedicated to safeguarding millions of users worldwide. In this role, you will lead high-impact, 0-to-1 product development initiatives within a strategic segment of McAfee’s core D2C protections ecosystem. We are looking for an entrepreneurial product leader who excels at identifying untapped market opportunities, building ironclad business cases, and taking concepts from a blank canvas to a successful global launch.
Working alongside peer PMs in the protections group, you will sit at the critical intersection of advanced technical infrastructure, strategic business analysis, and intuitive design to deliver the next generation of digital safety.
Work Structure & Location
This is a Hybrid position. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to one of our primary office hubs and be available for regular in-office collaboration according to team needs. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office.

About the Role
- Drive 0-to-1 Innovation: Identify emerging customer needs and market opportunities to define, validate, and launch new-to-the-world D2C protection products and features.
- Build the Business Case: Conduct rigorous market research, data analysis, and financial modeling to build compelling business cases and secure executive buy-in for new initiatives.
- Execute Buy/Build/Partner Analysis: Lead strategic evaluations to determine the fastest, most scalable path to market—whether that means architecting proprietary tech, leveraging open APIs, or driving strategic third-party integrations.
- Collaborate Across the Protections Space: Partner closely with peer Product Managers within the protections group to ensure new 0-to-1 initiatives integrate seamlessly into the broader McAfee ecosystem without creating a fragmented user experience.
- Simplify Complex Experiences: Partner with UX and Content Design to transform intricate, technical backend concepts into clear, engaging, and digestible user journeys that educate and empower consumers.
- Bridge Engineering & Design: Act as a primary bridge between engineering and UX. Comfortably navigate complex backend architectures and technical trade-offs while fiercely defending a flawless, intuitive consumer experience.
- Deliver Measurable Outcomes: Own key product metrics across user adoption, feature engagement, and retention, utilizing continuous customer feedback and data analytics to iterate rapidly post-launch.
