We are in search of an exceptional Product Manager, Health Platform to join the Sun Life Health team, focusing on the challenges of patients and healthcare providers, and guiding a full-stack product team from strategy to shipping products in a customer-first agile environment.
Role summary:
We are seeking a strategic product manager who can bridge business and technology, simplify complex ecosystems, influence without authority, and drive platform capabilities that scale across products, partners, and member experiences. The Product Manager plays a key role in accelerating Sun Life Health’s growth by supporting the identification and delivery of the product roadmap to enable new user experiences and business value.
What will you do ?
- Own the product roadmap for health product eligibility, access, and information exchange capabilities across multiple products, programs, and business units.
- Lead the definition and delivery of scalable platform solutions by partnering with product, business, technology, operations, and external health partners to solve complex cross-functional challenges.
- Drive product discovery, launch readiness, and ongoing optimization, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective capabilities, integrations, and member experiences.
- Shape and prioritize a strategic roadmap of platform and API enhancements that improve partner integration, operational efficiency, and future growth opportunities.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor on eligibility, access, and platform capabilities, influencing decisions and aligning stakeholders across the organization.
What do you need to succeed ?
- Product Management Leadership: Proven experience owning product roadmaps and delivery for complex platform, API, or digital product ecosystems.
- Requirements & Scenario Analysis: Strong ability to translate complex business processes, eligibility rules, and customer journeys into scalable product requirements and solutions.
- Stakeholder Management & Influence: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to align business, technology, operations, analytics, and external partners around a shared vision.
- Technical & Platform Acumen: Experience working with APIs, system integrations, data exchange models, and cross-platform architectures in an agile product environment.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, analyze complex problems, identify dependencies, and make data-informed product decisions.
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Strong track record partnering with engineering teams and technical squads throughout discovery, design, planning, and launch phases.
- Domain Expertise (Preferred): Experience in health, benefits, insurance, digital healthcare, or regulated industries with a strong understanding of customer access, eligibility, and partner ecosystems.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
