MES & Manufacturing Execution
- Gather and analyze requirements for MES solutions, including SAP Digital Manufacturing, DCS, and related shopfloor applications.
- Map current and future manufacturing processes across production, quality, maintenance, and material flow.
- Define functional requirements, user stories, business rules, workflows, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
- Support functional design, backlog refinement, testing, cutover, hypercare, and operational handover.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve visibility, and standardize execution across sites.
Automation & Machine Connectivity
- Analyze requirements for machines, robots, PLCs, SCADA, sensors, gateways, and other shopfloor equipment.
- Define required machine events, parameters, alarms, production records, and data collection frequency.
- Work with Engineering, OT, Architecture, Cybersecurity, vendors, and integration teams on connectivity scenarios.
- Support machine onboarding, technical assessments, architecture reviews, and compliance with connectivity standards.
- Document data movement, system boundaries, ownership, dependencies, and operational support needs.
Manufacturing Intelligence & Analytics
- Translate operational challenges into reporting, analytics, alerting, and decision-support use cases.
- Define measures and data requirements for production performance, quality, downtime, traceability, and maintenance.
- Explore and validate manufacturing data using SQL, Power BI, Python, or equivalent tools.
- Support use cases such as operational dashboards, predictive maintenance, quality analytics, and digital twin initiatives.
- Validate that analytics outputs are understandable, usable, and linked to business actions.
Data Connectivity & Integration
- Map end-to-end data flows across MES, ERP, IoT/SCADA, data platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Define source-to-target mappings, interfaces, data definitions, validation rules, and error-handling requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers on APIs, connectors, event streaming, and data pipeline requirements.
- Assess data quality, availability, timeliness, ownership, and readiness for integration or analytics.
- Validate integrated business scenarios and maintain functional and interface documentation.
Delivery, Change & Governance
- Facilitate workshops and align decisions across business and technical stakeholders.
- Manage requirements through discovery, design, build, test, release, and post-go-live support.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing, defect clarification, training input, and operational readiness.
- Maintain process maps, requirement documents, decisions, risks, dependencies, and solution knowledge.
- Ensure delivery aligns with product roadmap, architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and support standards.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Typically 3-7 years of experience in business analysis, manufacturing systems, industrial automation, data solutions, or digital transformation.
- Experience working with production, engineering, quality, maintenance, or operations teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with MES, ERP integration, industrial automation, smart factory, or manufacturing data projects is strongly preferred.
- Professional English communication skills and the ability to work across functions, sites, and external suppliers.
