Full description

Emerging Travel Group is a global travel-tech company that builds and operates online travel products and booking platforms for travelers, travel professionals, and accommodation partners across an international market. Working at the intersection of technology and travel, the team is focused on delivering reliable booking experiences and strong partner connectivity across the platform.

As a Senior Data Analyst on the Wholesaler BU team, you'll work at the intersection of product and business analytics on the supply side — the direct contracts we hold with accommodation partners and hotels. You'll dig into our direct inventory, shape prioritization and segmentation, and build the analytics that guide where the business goes next. It's a great fit for a self-driven analyst who can navigate a complex, evolving product, turn messy questions into clear answers, and partner closely with product, commercial, and international supply teams to make real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Research our suppliers (direct-contract accommodation providers, hotel chains, and third-party providers) and propose strategic, product, and process improvements to optimize their performance on the platform.
  • Develop and automate reporting related to our accommodation portfolio for various teams—from simple SQL query templates for the Moderation team to auto-refreshing data marts and executive dashboards for C-level stakeholders.
  • Analyze internal and external data to improve our current hotel offering and participate in Product Discovery for the Extranet (the hotel partners' portal).
  • Design and continuously improve analytical algorithms, including prioritization, segmentation, and predictive models, to better guide the Business Development team.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Data Analyst.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including a solid understanding of query optimization techniques.
  • Confident knowledge of Python and a good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly understand business processes and formulate key hypotheses for investigation.
  • Solid understanding of statistics and hands-on experience applying statistical methods for hypothesis testing, research, and evaluating confidence levels and generalizability of results.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly way using effective data visualizations.
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.
  • Flexible schedules and opportunity to work remotely.
  • Ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together.
  • Internal programs for adaptation and training, development of soft skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Partial compensation for participating in external training and conferences.
  • Corporate English school: Group and individual lessons, speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world.
  • Corporate prices on hotels and travel services.
  • MyTime Day Off - an extra non-working day without loss of compensation.
