Sales Operations Engineer

Company Overview

Archera empowers organizations of all sizes to optimize their cloud costs through unique, short-term, insured commitments. Hundreds of customers rely on Archera's innovative FinTech solutions to increase their cloud ROI while accelerating revenue objectives and service agility.

Archera's unique cloud rate insurance products and free FinOps platform enable teams to accurately predict and plan infrastructure growth, maximize commitment-based savings, and hedge against market demands and evolving cloud service provider offerings. Archera works closely with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, along with a broad partner ecosystem, to help customers execute financially prudent cloud strategies.

Position Overview

As a Sales Operations Engineer, you own the systems and automations behind Archera's Channel Partner and AWS Alliances teams. You will build and maintain the workflows in n8n and Salesforce that carry partner referrals, opportunity routing, Alliance Manager assignment, attribution, and AWS ACE and Labra processes, and you will trace data quality issues back to the workflow that produced them instead of correcting records one at a time. You will sit with both teams on their recurring calls, hear what is slowing them down, and fix it at the source.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain n8n and Salesforce automations for partner referrals, opportunity routing, Alliance Manager assignment, attribution, AWS ACE and Labra processes, Slack notifications, and reporting.
  • Work directly with the Partner and Alliances teams, joining their recurring calls to review tickets and workflows, and remove the manual work you find there.
  • Keep Salesforce data accurate by reconciling records across systems, preventing duplicates, and defining which system owns each field.
  • Monitor and improve the data pipeline that moves product data from the Archera application into Salesforce, working with Engineering when the root cause sits upstream.
  • Design, test, and release changes safely, then monitor running workflows and troubleshoot failures before the teams feel them.
  • Migrate selected Zapier workflows to n8n and build reusable components so common tasks are not rebuilt from scratch.
  • Administer the GTM tool stack day to day, including integrations, governance, access, and permissions.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years building and operating production automations in n8n, Zapier, or a similar platform, or in Python.
  • Working knowledge of webhooks, APIs, and managing integrations across systems.
  • Solid Salesforce experience, especially Flows, APIs, and the Account, Contact, and Opportunity data model, including maintaining records through automation.
  • Comfort with SQL and Python for data validation, deduplication, and monitoring.
  • A track record of picking up unfamiliar B2B SaaS tools quickly and putting them to work.
  • Clear communication and sound judgment about what to automate, what to fix at the source, and what to escalate.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Understanding of partnership revenue processes at a SaaS company, or familiarity with AWS Marketplace, ACE, Labra, partner operations, or revenue operations.
  • Exposure to data engineering and pipeline tools such as Postgres/RDS, Snowflake, dbt, or Hightouch.
  • FinOps or cloud cost management experience.
  • Experience using Git and code review for automation or data changes.
  • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth SaaS company.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO and company holidays
  • Remote-first culture
  • Opportunity to shape and scale a category-defining FinTech platform
