This position is based across our sites in the Leinster region.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose, and solve hardware/software faults and escalate to the Head of IT when necessary 
  • Management of the Glenveagh Active Directory infrastructure and Office 365 application suite 
  • Install and configure applications and hardware when required, design and develop solutions to automate the delivery of these services and solutions to Glenveagh 
  • Build, develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, diagrams and written instructions for the various systems and services deployed 
  • Monitor and maintain various systems, printers, mobile devices, and networks across all the various Glenveagh sites 
  • Support the setup and delivery of the IT services on new sites as required. Work closely with the resources on site to ensure the IT service is maintained and reliable 
  • Establish a good working relationship with other professionals within Glenveagh, ensuring that the IT department delivers a reliable, responsive and high-quality service 
  • Proven experience in an IT support role, preferably in a construction or field-based environment.
  • Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Office 365 Admin, and Azure.
  • Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with building and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to construction sites.
