Pay Range: $100k - $115k / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

This Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) position will report to the Senior Finance Manager (SFM) and will be a key finance business partner to the Technology Businesses (“Towers”) within Quest. The SFA will support the SFM and partner directly with Tower Leads on the IT Senior Leadership Team (“ITSLT”) and their direct reports/extended teams, providing financial insights to help them manage their businesses more effectively.

The individual in this role will need to be detail oriented, adaptable, and flexible given the dynamic nature of the IT businesses, and will partner with centralized accounting and the IT businesses to:

  • Provide monthly financial support of their specific towers’ P&Ls (EEPS and EADT)
  • Consolidate monthly actuals reporting across all IT Towers (including ones they do not own)
  • Support the monthly outlook creation process for their specific towers, and consolidate the outlook across all IT Towers
  • Participate in strategic planning to grow the business
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing financial processes, especially in ways that leverage AI

Responsibilities

  • Support business leadership by helping formulate strategy, conduct detailed analysis, and provide financial insights
  • Take ownership of the business partners’ expense P&L and present monthly financial performance to various levels of management
  • Maintain and improve a framework to track business partners’ external spend commitments and deliver insights to ITSLT and external reporting
  • Partner with the product teams to develop annual business plans and track performance
  • Support Senior Finance Director with various ad-hoc information requests

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in a deadline-driven month-end close process
  • Self-starter with abundant analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service focus in working with senior management and functional SMEs
  • Strong Excel skills are required; experience in Essbase strongly preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent follow-up ability
