Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Sales Operations Analyst, Enterprise and Data Center EMEA (m/f/d)
Purpose of the Position:
The Sales Operations Analyst will support the EMEA Enterprise and Data Center commercial organization by maintaining accurate sales data, preparing standard reports and dashboards, supporting pipeline and forecast processes, administering sales operations tools, and assisting with sales incentive program (SIP) activities. This B-band analyst role is focused on reliable execution, data quality, reporting support, process coordination, and practical analysis that helps sales teams and managers make timely business decisions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain recurring sales reports, dashboards, and performance summaries to support visibility into sales results, pipeline health, forecast status, and commercial activity.
- Support pipeline and forecast processes by collecting inputs, validating data, highlighting gaps or inconsistencies, and following up on agreed actions with sales teams and managers.
- Improve CRM data quality by monitoring Salesforce entries, identifying incomplete or inconsistent information, and supporting users with basic guidance on sales process expectations.
- Support sales effectiveness by helping identify process issues, reporting pain points, and opportunities to reduce non-selling administrative effort.
- Translate sales data into clear summaries, charts, and presentations that help stakeholders understand trends, risks, opportunities, and required follow-up.
- Support administration of the sales incentive program (SIP), including data preparation, performance tracking, report distribution, validation support, issue follow-up, and coordination with Sales, Finance, HR, and SIP program stakeholders.
- Assist with sales compensation and incentive-related reporting by supporting credit assignment checks, attainment reporting, exclusions, accrual inputs, and related communications.
- Support adoption of sales tools and processes by preparing user guidance, maintaining training materials, assisting with onboarding, and sharing standard work instructions.
- Document process steps, maintain sales operations reference materials, and support continuous improvement activities under the guidance of sales operations or commercial leadership.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Customer Operations, HR, and IT colleagues to support consistent reporting, data accuracy, and timely execution of sales operations activities.
Required Education and Experience:
- Degree in business, economics, analytics, information systems, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Early career experience in sales operations, commercial operations, finance, business analytics, customer operations, or a related business support function.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize data, create basic analyses, and prepare clear management-ready materials.
- Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, or willingness and ability to quickly learn sales operations tools and processes.
- Strong attention to detail, comfort working with data, and ability to follow defined processes accurately and consistently.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and spoken English and work effectively with colleagues across countries and functions.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to sales incentive, quota, attainment, commission, or sales compensation reporting processes.
- Experience using Salesforce, Power BI, SAP, SharePoint, or similar reporting, workflow, or business systems.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, customer segmentation, or commercial planning.
- Interest in process improvement, automation, standard work, and practical simplification of recurring business activities.
- Additional European language skills may be helpful but are not required.
