Current Opportunity

Group Senior QA Engineer owns the design, build and maintenance of automated test coverage for backend (APIs, services, integrations) and frontend (web, mobile web) of the Gaming platform. Turns manual regression and post-deploy checks into reliable automated suites integrated into CI/CD, enabling faster and safer releases across markets and brands. Defines automation standards, reviews test code and coaches Mid and Junior team members in moving from manual to automated testing. Works in an English-speaking, multi-brand, multi-product, multi-channel environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Test automation strategy: defines and maintains the automation approach for Gaming platform scope (test pyramid, what to automate vs. keep manual, risk-based prioritisation), in collaboration with PO, developers and architects

• Backend / API automation: designs, builds and maintains automated tests for REST APIs and backend services (functional, integration and contract level), including data validation in database (SQL) and integration flows with 3rd party game providers

• Frontend automation: designs, builds and maintains automated UI tests for web and mobile web covering critical player journeys (e.g. login, game lobby, game launch, bonus/jackpot flows, game configuration) using a stable, maintainable framework (Page Object or equivalent)

• CI/CD integration: integrates automated suites into deployment pipelines (smoke on every deploy, regression per release); maintains test reports and quality gates; supports post-deploy verification and release sign-off

• Regression ownership: systematically converts manual regression and post-deploy checks into automated suites; monitors and fixes flaky tests; keeps execution time and maintenance cost under control

• Test data and environments: builds test data scripts, mocks/stubs for 3rd party dependencies and reusable test assets; coordinates test environment needs with DevOps/INFRA

• Defect management: reports, triages and verifies defects; supports root-cause analysis with developers and vendors; contributes to incident post-mortems where testing gaps are identified

• Quality reporting: tracks and reports automation coverage, pass rate, flaky rate and defect leakage per release

• Standards and code review: defines coding standards, conventions and documentation for the automation framework; reviews automated test code of other team members

• Mentoring: educates and mentors Mid and Junior QA / Configuration Specialists in writing and maintaining automated tests; conducts walkthroughs and knowledge-sharing sessions

• Continuous improvement: evaluates and pilots tooling, including AI-assisted test generation and maintenance, where it brings measurable value to team throughput

• Keeping test strategy, automation framework documentation and test cases up to date

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience

• Fluent verbal and written communication knowledge of English language

• Quality Assurance / Testing experience at least 4 years

• Hands-on test automation experience (coding, not record & playback) at least 3 years

• Automation of both backend (API) and frontend (UI) tests at least 2 years

• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines at least 1 year

• Experience mentoring or onboarding other QA team members (formal or informal)

  • Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
