About the Role
We are looking for a Business Applications Administrator / Business Analyst with strong Salesforce administration experience and a solid understanding of business processes and application management.
The role combines business-facing analysis and stakeholder partnership with hands-on responsibility for Salesforce administration, application support, testing, release management, data quality, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can move comfortably between understanding the business problem, defining the right solution, configuring the application, testing the change, and supporting its adoption.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and process gaps across functions.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder discussions, and discovery meetings to understand current and future business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and solution specifications.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, data quality, user experience, and scalability.
- Work with stakeholders to evaluate different solution options and recommend the most appropriate application or process change.
- Identify root causes of business and system issues rather than addressing only the immediate symptoms.
- Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions meet business expectations.
- Support process mapping, impact analysis, gap analysis, and change assessment for new initiatives and application enhancements.
- Act as a bridge between business users and technology teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate manual work, and improve the overall employee/user experience.
2. Business Applications Administration
- Administer and enhance Salesforce using declarative configuration, with a strong focus on Flows, validation rules, page layouts, permissions, automation, reports, and dashboards.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Salesforce and business application support requests by triaging, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Translate approved business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations and application solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues across Salesforce and integrated business applications and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage Salesforce users, profiles, permission sets, security, data access, reports, dashboards, and other administrative activities.
- Support and maintain integrations with applications such as Slack, JIRA, and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platforms.
- Monitor application health, data quality, configuration standards, and overall platform reliability.
- Identify configuration improvements and opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve platform maintainability.
3. Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain business process documentation, functional requirements, user guides, SOPs, and application documentation.
- Maintain clear documentation of Salesforce configurations, workflows, integrations, and business processes.
- Develop and maintain knowledge resources to improve user adoption and reduce recurring support requests.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process, configuration, automation, or training improvements.
- Continuously evaluate how business applications can better support evolving business requirements.

- Strong Business Analysis capability, including requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, process analysis, documentation, gap analysis, and solution definition.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand problems, define requirements, and translate them into technology solutions.
- Experience supporting Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience with QA, UAT, test planning, test execution, and release validation.
