Job overview:

As a Mechanical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Reliability Maintenance and NDT Inspection solutions within the industrial sector, based on customer requirements and in line with current market standards and the latest technologies.

The role will involve identifying and developing new business opportunities, establishing new customer relationships, maintaining existing client satisfaction, and supporting pre-sales activities, including product and solution presentations. The position will also be responsible for achieving sales targets and contributing to business development initiatives for the Industrial Reliability & NDT Inspection Solutions Division.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant professional or technical certifications in Reliability, NDT, Welding Inspection, or related fields are considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Reliability Maintenance and/or Welding Inspection.
  • Previous experience in Technical Sales, Industrial Products, Engineering Solutions, or B2B Sales is preferred.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management and Business Development is an advantage.
  • Experience in selling or supporting Reliability, NDT Inspection, or industrial engineering solutions is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Familiarity with key industrial sectors, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Energy, Power Generation, Water Desalination, Mining, and Infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of industrial asset safety, integrity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to identify prospective customers, generate and convert sales leads, understand customer requirements, and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong business development, prospecting, and account qualification skills.
  • Client-oriented with strong negotiation, persuasion, objection-handling, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate and present products and solutions to customers.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to stay up to date with product knowledge, sales processes, business flows, market standards, and the latest technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with good knowledge of data analysis, sales metrics, and reporting.
  • Strong planning, organization, follow-up, and reporting skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel according to business requirements.
