Full description

Contingent upon contract award. Full-time, 100% on site at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. Monday–Friday, 0800–1630, with occasional support outside normal duty hours during contingencies or exercises. Public Trust (Tier 2) background check and CAC required.

Claxton Logistics is hiring two Graphic Designers to serve as visual storytellers for Walter Reed, the nation’s flagship military hospital. You will turn medical and command information into clear visuals: publications, health campaigns, wayfinding and signage, infographics and social graphics. You will run each project from intake to approval within DHA brand standards and Walter Reed’s clearance process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in graphic design, visual arts, communications or related
  • 5+ years of professional design, with a portfolio (branding, print and digital layout, infographics)
  • Mastery of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Healthcare or military public affairs experience
  • HIPAA/PHI awareness
  • Ability to manage many concurrent deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • DHA or MTF experience
