The Role

The Senior Lead Technical Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a portfolio of technology services and platforms. This role balances business objectives, customer needs, technical feasibility, and operational requirements to deliver scalable, high-value solutions. The successful candidate will drive service modernization through automation, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, efficiency, and customer experience. As a technical product leader, they will translate complex business and technical requirements, influence architectural decisions, and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. The role also leads cross-functional Agile delivery, including backlog management, user story refinement, sprint execution, and alignment across engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure successful product outcomes.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for capabilities, enhancements, and platform evolution.
  • Balance business priorities, technical feasibility, customer demand, and operational needs.
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency, adoption, and user experience.
  • Define, catalog, and standardize services and capabilities within the workstream.
  • Break complex offerings into consumable services and features.
  • Establish clear service definitions, value propositions, and customer-facing outcomes
  • Drive Automation and Continuous Improvement by assessing current-state processes and identify maturity gaps.
  • Champion automation, self-service capabilities, and operational simplification.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with development teams to translate complex technical requirements into actionable tasks.
  • Act as a technical advisor to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on product features and architecture and serve as the primary point of contact for all technical product-related queries.
  • Manage product communications including release notes, customer feedback and other artifacts
  • Conduct regular meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and team capacity.
  • Partner with scrum master & engineering leaders to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to foster continuous improvement.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience as a Technical Product Owner/Manager or similar role, with a focus on technical products. Cloud experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, API design, devops, cloud computing, and data management.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward a shared vision.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Ability to think critically and address challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and new opportunities.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$132,232 - $176,310 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $138,844 - $185,124 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $145,456 - $193,940 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
