About project
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Go (Golang) to join a project for our client from the automotive industry.
You will be working on next-generation in-vehicle infotainment platforms and connected vehicle systems, designing and delivering high-performance middleware and application software solutions.
In this role, you will play a key part in building scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that enable advanced user experiences, vehicle integration, and cloud-connected capabilities. We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise, a high level of ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and distributed teams.
Availability to work in the US time zone, until approximately 6:00–7:00 PM Polish time, and willingness to travel occasionally to the US for business purposes.
Responsibilities
- You will be designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services, middleware, and platform applications for infotainment and connected vehicle systems;
- You will be writing clean, maintainable, and high-performance Go code, ensuring scalability, fault tolerance, and system resiliency;
- You will be building high-throughput systems optimized for memory efficiency, low latency, and overall performance;
- You will be contributing to system architecture and design, developing technical solutions aligned with platform and product requirements;
- You will be owning the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including root cause analysis, issue resolution, validation, and continuous improvement;
- You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Systems, Integration, Product, Platform, and Design, to deliver robust and fully integrated software solutions;
- You will be leading and participating in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions;
- You will be mentoring and supporting other engineers, promoting best practices in software development, testing, and system design;
- You will be working according to Agile development processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, and Retrospectives;
- You will be following the client’s software development processes and architectural standards, ensuring high software quality and consistency across the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience;
- Strong knowledge of Go (Golang) fundamentals, including structs, interfaces, channels, and goroutines;
- Deep understanding of concurrency and parallel processing;
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and backend systems;
- Experience in designing and building distributed systems or microservices architectures;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and modern software development tools;
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data-driven applications;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams;
- Availability to work in the US time zone, until approximately 6:00–7:00 PM Polish time.
Nice to have
- Experience in automotive software development, particularly infotainment systems, instrument clusters, or vehicle middleware;
- Understanding of the Vehicle Development Process (VDP) or similar automotive development lifecycle processes;
- Experience with system observability, including logging, monitoring, and tracing, as well as production support;
- Experience with or exposure to safety-critical or real-time systems.
We offer:
- Salary: 25 000 - 35 000 PLN netto / B2B.
