We are looking for a highly skilled Golang Developer with 5–7 years of professional software development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, and Linux, with a proven ability to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems.

You will work on distributed applications, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure while collaborating closely with product, DevOps, and engineering teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and building high-performance systems in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Golang.

  • Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested Go code following industry best practices.
  • Design and implement concurrent and fault-tolerant services using Go's concurrency capabilities such as goroutines and channels.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications running on Kubernetes clusters.
  • Create and maintain Kubernetes resources such as Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and StatefulSets.
  • Work extensively in Linux environments, including system troubleshooting, performance monitoring, process management, networking, and shell scripting.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues across application, infrastructure, and Kubernetes layers.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and system reliability.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, resource utilization, and system availability.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application reliability and quality.
  • Monitor production systems and proactively identify potential performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, deployment processes, and operational procedures.

Must-Have Skills• 5–7 years of hands-on software development experience.

  • Strong professional experience with Golang (Go) and backend development.
  • Excellent understanding of Go programming concepts, concurrency, goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and package management.
  • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, services, networking, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux, including command-line tools, system administration, process management, networking, logs, and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application architecture.
  • Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Good-to-Have Skills• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
  • Familiarity with observability tools, monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
