About this Position
The Sage X3 Solutions Engineer works with clients and the X3 consulting team to plan, design, develop and launch new or complex functionality that is required by our prospects and customers. The role is also responsible for researching and developing new offerings for the practice and assisting the Consulting Manager with decisions on the products and verticals that are supported by the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Recommend tailored technology solutions for customers and prospects, aligning with their specific business needs.
- Utilize "Selling Through Curiosity" discovery methodologies to deeply understand customer goals and ensure the right solutions are implemented. Collaborate closely with consulting managers, sales, and project teams to assess business strategy and fine-tune solutions to meet customer priorities.
- Create engaging product demonstration scripts that clearly address customer pain points based on progressive discovery.
- Deliver effective and engaging product demonstrations that tell relatable stories, enabling customers to see how Sage X3 solves their pain points and enhances their business.
- Confidently manage diverse audiences, conducting demos that range from a few hours to full-day sessions, tailored to varying business needs.
- Enhance operational efficiency by developing and enforcing best practices for product implementations.
- Develop detailed process and data models that meet solution objectives, applying modeling techniques and enterprise data standards to complex business requirements.
- Lead initial design, problem-solving, and software architecture reviews in line with the customer's strategic direction.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop solutions and resolve issues efficiently.
- Work closely with project and consulting managers to ensure technical and development resources are allocated effectively, with appropriate task durations.
- Meet financial targets by achieving budget goals and objectives.
Job Requirements

- ·3+ years of experience in Sage X3 application consulting or as a Sales/Solutions Engineer with other ERP solutions, leading the entire SDLC from concept to production as a functional or technical consultant.
- Proven industry experience delivering highly available and scalable ERP solutions.
- Expertise in creating high-level estimates based on limited requirements.
- Skilled in generating both functional and technical Solution Design deliverables for internal and external audiences.
- Ability to travel throughout North America.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $95,000 to $130,000.
This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
