About the role
As a Business Analyst within our Customs Integration Platform team, you will play a critical role in supporting customer implementations, system integrations, and process improvement initiatives across North America. Acting as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and development teams, you will gather and analyze requirements, create detailed mapping specifications, and help design scalable integration solutions. This is a highly collaborative and customer-facing role where you will work with EDI, XML, and other electronic data formats to support customs brokerage operations, customer onboarding projects, and technology enhancements that improve efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements for customer integrations and enhancement projects.
- Create business requirements documents, Statements of Work (SOWs), mapping specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Interpret EDI, XML, XSD, and other electronic file formats to support system integrations and data mapping activities.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to define implementation requirements and support project delivery.
- Execute quality assurance testing, validate solution functionality, and ensure requirements are met before deployment.
- Identify process gaps, data discrepancies, and integration opportunities while recommending scalable solutions.

- Experience as a Business Analyst supporting system implementations, integrations, or process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of customs brokerage, international trade, logistics, supply chain operations, or related industries.
- Ability to read and interpret EDI transactions, XML documents, XSD schemas, and data mapping specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience translating technical requirements into business solutions.
- Experience working directly with customers and managing stakeholder expectations in complex environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams, including operations, compliance, finance, and technology teams.
- Familiarity with CargoWise One, customer integrations, data mapping, or integration technologies is highly desirable.

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Preferred) | Florham Park, New Jersey also considered
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, 5 days per week
Travel Expectations: Up to 10% travel, as business needs require.
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000*
*The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location. Final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate(s) in compliance with all applicable laws.
