Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric & Azure Data Engineer with 9–11 years of overall experience and strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL, data integration, ETL/ELT, APIs, and modern data platforms.

The successful candidate will design and develop scalable data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and analytical data solutions while collaborating closely with business, CRM, reporting, and engineering teams.

Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and working with Power BI, data models, and reporting solutions will be highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Azure.
  • Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
  • Develop data ingestion pipelines from applications, APIs, databases, files, and external systems.
  • Design and implement APIs and integration services.
  • Integrate Microsoft Fabric/Azure solutions with enterprise systems such as Salesforce CRM.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
  • Design and maintain data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.
  • Develop scalable data models aligned with analytics and reporting requirements.
  • Work with batch and real-time data ingestion patterns where required.
  • Implement data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and error-handling mechanisms.
  • Support Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize pipeline and query performance.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting for data pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
  • Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, Salesforce teams, reporting teams, and data architects.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Contribute to scalable and reusable data-platform architecture.
