Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Tableau Developer to design, develop, and deploy robust Tableau dashboards and reports that align with business requirements and provide actionable insights. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.

Only work authorizations that will not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and gather business requirements
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Tableau dashboards and reports that align with business requirements and provide actionable insights
  • Research and recommend innovative BI solutions and visualization methods to improve the project's data-driven decision-making process
  • Evaluate predictive analytics models to forecast future scenarios and inform strategic planning
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, understandable presentations
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in dashboards and reports
  • Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on how to use BI tools and dashboards effectively
  • Continually refine and iterate BI strategy based on evolving project needs

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Tableau dashboard design & development – 7 years
  • Data visualization & storytelling – 7 years
  • Business requirements gathering – 7 years
  • Data analysis & interpretation – 7 years
  • Experience integrating with Salesforce – 3 years
  • Business intelligence (BI) solutions – 7 years
  • Experience integrating with cloud data warehousing tools, such as Snowflake – 5 years
  • Experience with Tableau Online – 3 years

Preferred:

  • Predictive analytics & forecasting models – 7 years
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes – 7 years
  • Data warehousing concepts – 5 years
  • Familiarity with Sigma Computing – 1 year

Physical Demands 

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
  • Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$65 - $70 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
