Meaningful Work From Day One
The Product Engineer is crucial for optimizingmanufacturing and operational excellence. This role directly owns Product Domain Master Data management for External Manufacturing plants and Own Distribution Warehouses via SAP and other data management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The core objective is to minimize local data issues, maintainintegrity, and empower supply chain processes for planning, production, and fulfillment. You will work independently, adhering to guidelines, and contribute to data governance policy development.
What You Can Expect
Master Data Management & Accuracy (Product Domain Focus):
- Manage critical SAP and other system data (part numbers, materials, BOMs, Production Versions) for production and repacking operations, ensuring alignment with SKU lifecycles.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards for assigned plants, contributing to consistent global practices.
- Maintain Liquid master data, resolve complex issuesand develop standard procedures.
- Execute periodic SKU management tasks across systems, ensuring high data accuracy and compliance to global standards.
SKU Lifecycle Management & Data Quality Assurance:
- Optimize Product Lifecycle (SKUs and materials) through analysis and obsolescence support, ensuring consistent application across plants.
- Ensure BOM accuracy via creation, review, and approval across all relevant systems, enforcing rigorous standards.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify, streamline, and automate master data creation across SAP/other systems for consistency and efficiency.
- Utilize MDM/relevant platforms to automate workflows; champion new best practices for data speed, quality, and compliance (global formats, communication).
- Proactively mitigate operational risks and support capacity planning related to master data, ensuring seamless cross-plant support.
- Coordinate with EMO & Supply Planning to integrate essential master data across systems.
What You Bring to the Table
- Education & Experience Foundation — Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
or equivalent practical experience: 2+ years working with SAP or equivalent ERP in a manufacturing/supply chain environment, or 5+ years of relevant experience in materials creation, planning, production, packaging development, or operations with strong technology/system integration exposure.
- SAP Master Data Expertise — Hands‑on experience creating and maintaining Material Master, BOMs, and subcontracting‑related master data (e.g., subcontracting info records, and vendor‑specific BOM requirements) across multiple plants and connected systems, with the capability to support internal manufacturing recipe data as the role expands.
- Analytical & Problem‑Solving Strength — Proven ability to troubleshoot data‑related issues, interpret system impacts, and resolve complex, systemic challenges affecting multiple plants.
- Data Accuracy & Governance — Demonstrated commitment to data integrity, with experience enforcing standards, maintaining continuity across systems, and supporting governance requirements.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Experience coordinating and influencing across plant operations, supply chain, and functional teams to align master data, resolve issues, and support shared operational goals.
- Systems & Tools Proficiency — Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and aptitude for MDM/planning systems; ability to quickly learn new systems and leverage data for insights and governance.
- Adaptability & Independent Execution — Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt processes to evolving business needs in a dynamic environment.
- Process Improvement & Automation — Ability to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement automation or streamlining initiatives; track record of contributing to standardization across plants.
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain Knowledge — Practical understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, with the ability to apply master data concepts to planning, production, repacking, and fulfillment.
