How you will create an impact

AIG is looking for a driven individual to assume a critical role responsible for BI delivery in support of Finance Operations, and will help us further align to our international engagement leads and our international development teams

This role will be responsible for working directly with senior data and technology leaders and partnering with key business partners while managing timely delivery in an agile environment. This role will also work with other BI Delivery team leads across the organization, ensuring consistency across teams and adherence to standards. This role will also be a technical subject matter expert on deploying scalable BI solutions, through PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos and Sigma Computing platforms.

  

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Has advance knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures, and skills in Finance operations domain with expertise in Business Intelligence Delivery practices
  • 5 + years of proven experience in BI Delivery, leading global teams of employees and contractors, with timely and successful delivery and implementation.
  • At least 8 years must be in a financial services or insurance industry
  • Deep subject matter expertise in BI tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and Sigma Computing, including experience with standardization at scale
  • Thought leader – ability to define technical implementation approaches to complex BI deliverables
  • Advance knowledge of data visualization tools and advanced analytics software.
  • Has advanced knowledge and understanding of principles, procedures, and skills in domain and the most advanced understanding of Business Intelligence Delivery practices
  • Strong experience in the technology field / programming / tool design and development
  • Advanced knowledge of data management, data architecture, and data warehousing
  • Strong execution and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead a global team effectively without organizational alignment
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability - candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, attention to details, and analytical skills and process orientations.
  • Ability to consult and interact effectively with all levels of the organization and develop strong business partnerships
  • Thought leader – ability to define technical implementation approaches to complex BI deliverables
  • Highly motivated, positive, team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and with changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving ability - candidate needs to exhibit structured thinking, attention to details, and analytical skills and process orientations.
  • Degree from a four-year college or university; MS is preferred.

 For positions based in New York, NY, the base salary range for this position is $118,000 – $178,000  and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan. For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range for this position is $126,000-$171,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
