Sr Financial Analyst | Henry Ford At Home | Detroit, MI
Location: Detroit, MI. This is an Onsite Position
Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
- **Keep the financial engine running smoothly** – Monitor financial systems like a hawk to ensure data integrity, and proactively hunt for opportunities to supercharge our processes and maximize the value of financial activities.
- **Own special projects and make an impact** – Lead and complete special projects while actively participating in key committee meetings that shape our organization's future.
- **Be the financial champion for business units** – Provide targeted support to individual business units and cross-functional projects, becoming the go-to financial expert they can count on.
- **Spot trends and drive smart decisions** – Dig into reporting trends to uncover insights and deliver actionable recommendations to assigned business units that move the needle.
- **Collaborate across the organization** – Partner closely with reimbursement, decision support, contracting, supply chain, and operations teams to break down silos and drive results.
- **Tell the financial story** – Maintain dynamic communications with senior executives, operational leaders, and physicians about business plans, ROI, and special projects—making complex financial data easy to understand and actionable.
- **Investigate and improve** – Provide technical expertise in investigating significant or unusual variances, identifying process improvements, and reviewing consolidated financial statements and regulatory compliance reports to keep us ahead of the curve.
- **Maintain financial integrity** – Ensure robust controls over financial reporting and keep our organization compliant with all regulatory requirements.
- **Embrace flexibility** – Take on additional responsibilities and assignments as needed to support our mission and drive organizational success.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
·Three to five (3-5) years of experience in accounting, finance or related field.
·Previous healthcare finance experience, preferred.
·Previous experience with cost accounting analysis, preferred.
·Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
