What you will do:
- Design, configure, deploy, and sustain secure enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless network environments.
- Install and configure Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, wireless access points, controllers, and supporting network infrastructure.
- Configure Layer 2/3 services including VLANs, trunks, STP, link aggregation, inter-VLAN routing, IPv4/IPv6, and resilient network paths.
- Implement and troubleshoot OSPF, BGP, static routing, route redistribution, and gateway redundancy in enterprise networks.
- Deploy and support enterprise wireless networks, including SSIDs, authentication, RF optimization, roaming, coverage validation, and performance troubleshooting.
- Configure ACLs, NAT, VPN/IPsec, 802.1X, AAA, RADIUS, TACACS+, and network segmentation/security controls.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues using CLI diagnostics, packet captures, SNMP, syslog, NetFlow, and network monitoring platforms.
- Support network refreshes, migrations, software/firmware upgrades, configuration management, hardening, vulnerability remediation, and change control.
- Develop network diagrams, IP address plans, configurations, implementation procedures, test plans, and as-built documentation.
- Collaborate with systems, cloud, cyber, wireless, and customer teams to support deployments, integrations, testing, and mission execution.
What you will bring:
- Hands-on enterprise networking experience at a CCNA/CCNP level configuring and troubleshooting production network environments.
- Strong experience with Cisco routers and Catalyst switches, including IOS/IOS-XE configuration, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Cisco enterprise wireless products, including access points and wireless LAN controllers; Catalyst 9800 experience preferred.
- Experience with Juniper Junos-based routing and switching platforms and Juniper Mist wireless products; EX/MX experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting, VLANs, Ethernet, STP/RSTP, LACP, and inter-VLAN routing.
- Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, static routing, route redistribution, HSRP/VRRP, and high-availability network design.
- Understanding of 802.11 wireless standards, RF fundamentals, channel planning, roaming, 802.1X, and wireless troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of network security concepts including ACLs, segmentation, NAT, VPN/IPsec, AAA, RADIUS, TACACS+, and least-privilege access.
- Experience using Wireshark, packet capture, SNMP, syslog, NetFlow, and network monitoring/management tools for troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Familiarity with QoS, multicast, SD-WAN, network automation, Python/Ansible, APIs, or infrastructure-as-code concepts is a plus.
- Experience supporting DoD, government, or regulated enterprise networks and familiarity with STIGs, configuration baselines, and vulnerability remediation preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. CCNA required or equivalent demonstrated experience; CCNP preferred.
- Active security clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain a clearance required. Must be able to work onsite and travel as required.
