FMS Financial Analyst

Program Summary

Job Summary

Candidate will provide entry level financial and program management database support to meet Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers’ needs to include, but are not limited to: budget administration, business policy, financial management, and process/performance improvement; will need to effectively operate multiple management information systems as well as identifying anomalies/inconsistencies. Candidate must be organized, logical, and a quick learner, as well as detail-oriented. This position will support both budget execution and funding programs reporting to support FMS customer financial management. Candidate may also be assisting with the coordinating, as well as attending Program Management Reviews (PMRs) held between the company and customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with zero years of experience. 8 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and operate multiple complex information systems with limited formal documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required to manage large volumes of financial and program data
  • Ability to follow established processes while adapting to changing government financial systems and reporting requirements.

Desired Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field with 0-2 years’ experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is a plus
  • Experience working with large datasets in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, Power Query, or similar analytical tools.
  • Experience reconciling data between multiple systems and researching inconsistencies.
  • Experience supporting government, defense, logistics, acquisition, or financial management programs.
