We are looking for a passionate Python Developer to design, build, test, and deploy reliable, high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, transforming technical requirements into functional and maintainable applications. You will work with technologies such as Django REST Framework and Docker to develop and integrate software components. You will also contribute to testing strategies, quality assurance, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes. This remote opportunity offers the chance to collaborate directly with clients, present technical solutions, and help ensure projects meet their objectives. Accountabilities:

• Full Software Development Lifecycle: Design, develop, implement, test, and deploy software solutions in line with project requirements and technical standards.

• Code Development: Write efficient, maintainable, and testable Python code, following established coding practices and software design principles.

• API Development: Build and maintain application programming interfaces using Django REST Framework.

• Software Integration: Integrate software components into fully functional systems, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Apply test-driven development practices, create software verification plans, and implement quality assurance procedures to identify and resolve defects.

• Technical Documentation: Document software functionality, technical requirements, specifications, and implementation decisions, keeping documentation accurate and up to date.

• Development Process Improvement: Adapt and implement software engineering tools, workflows, and metrics to improve productivity, quality, and delivery.

• Technical Feasibility and Planning: Produce technical specifications, assess operational feasibility, and contribute to project planning and execution.

• Client Collaboration: Meet with clients to present proposed solutions, explain technical approaches, and ensure alignment with business requirements.

• Project Delivery: Follow project plans, release processes, and relevant industry standards while contributing technical expertise as a subject matter specialist.

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: Proven experience working as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a similar technical role.

• Python Development: Strong programming skills and the ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable software.

• Django REST Framework: Practical experience building and maintaining REST APIs using Django REST Framework.

• Docker: Experience using Docker to package and manage application environments.

• Test-Driven Development: Familiarity with test-driven development principles and software testing practices.

• Software Engineering Tools: Proficiency with relevant development tools and practices used throughout the software engineering lifecycle.

• Technical Documentation: Ability to document requirements, technical specifications, software functionality, and implementation details clearly.

• Development Methodologies: Familiarity with software development methodologies, release management, and deployment processes.

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, collaborate with clients, and present software solutions effectively.

• Remote Work: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with distributed teams in a remote environment.
