Assistant Project Manager

You will be a member of a fully integrated team, working with fellow ISGers to develop creative solutions.  In this role, you will work with internal team members to keep projects well organized, drive consistency and accountability to our teams and helps ensure adherence to budget and schedule and ultimately, a successful and profitable project, and a happy client.

Essential Duties

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to support project execution, maintain clear communication with clients, resolve issues, assess risks, and navigate strategic and operational challenges
  • Coordinate and facilitate project kickoff meetings, ensuring progress is tracked and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
  • Take ownership of meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action items to keep teams aligned and accountable
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project-related inquiries, organizing and preparing discussions with the project lead
  • Manage and consolidate progress documentation, ensuring alignment with project timelines and assisting in strategic planning with the project lead
  • Support construction administration by coordinating submittals such as shop drawings, RFIs, and other documentation
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive mindset; ready to pivot when needed and always willing to step up to support the team and project success

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 1-5 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction-related fields preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a relevant discipline
  • Strong organizational and communication skills—essential for success in this role
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to ISG offices, client sites, or training sessions
