THE OPPORTUNITY

The Principal Offer Manager is responsible for the design, development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of packaged Professional Services offerings. This standardized services catalogue of fixed-scope packages, deployment accelerators, and upgrade and migration paths, spans the entire customer lifecycle, from initial deployment, through functional extensions, upgrades, and cloud transformation journeys. This role will be responsible for defining the value proposition, delivery model, and commercialization framework for their offers, bridging Product Management, Sales, Presales, Delivery, and GTM teams. As customers accelerate the transition from traditional on-premises licenses to modern cloud subscriptions, they will translate OpenText’s enterprise solutions into repeatable, high-value packaged services that drive rapid time-to-value and make it easier to position our value.

YOU ARE GREAT AT

Offer Strategy & Design

  • Defining the vision and product strategy for a portfolio of packaged offers aligned to OpenText’s strategic growth themes.
  • Designing, building, and maintaining a standardized services catalogue including work breakdown structures, scope of work, service definitions, and unit economics.
  • Creating modern offerings that accelerate customer migration to the OpenText cloud, with a focus on SaaS adoption, change management, and continuous optimization.
  • Aligning cross-functional Sales, Delivery, and GTM teams on a single unified vision for your offer design and execution plan.

Commercialization & GTM Enablement

  • Partnering with Sales, Demand Hub, and Offer Management to position your services and align with targeted sales plays.
  • Building business cases, pricing models, and commercialization strategies that support both direct and partner-led motions.
  • Ensuring offerings are fully documented, priced, and launch-ready across North America, Europe, and international markets.
  • Developing playbooks, success stories, and enablement materials that equip Sales and Presales to position, scope, and sell standardized service packages.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Conducting voice-of-customer research to identify recurring enterprise needs around modernization, data governance, and AI adoption.
  • Collaborating with regional and industry leaders to ensure offers resonate across verticals such as financial services, manufacturing, and public sector.
  • Continuously refining offers based on market trends, customer feedback, and adoption metrics.

Portfolio Integration & Scaling

  • Creating a consistent delivery methodology across regions — integrating with existing OpenText accelerators and frameworks.
  • Partnering with PS Delivery and Centers of Excellence to pilot new services, operationalize tools, templates, and knowledge assets, and refine delivery for efficiency, scalability, and margin health.
  • Establishing KPIs and telemetry to track value realization, attach rates, and downstream conversion into implementation and managed services.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • 10+ years of experience in Professional Services, Product Management, Portfolio Management, or Consulting within enterprise software or digital transformation domains.
  • Proven ability to design, launch, and scale services or solution offerings with measurable impact.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise transformation themes including cloud modernization, AI adoption and governance, and risk resilience.
  • Strong business acumen and product management toolkit — defining product-market fit for services, managing roadmaps, writing service definitions and SOW templates, and tracking portfolio ROI.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional GTM, Sales, and Delivery teams, influencing without authority across global organizations.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with executive-level presence; fluency in English required, additional languages an asset.
  • Working knowledge of information management domains (e.g., content management, capture, output management) is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Power BI/Tableau, and common GTM analytics tools preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

Success will be measured by:

  • Meeting timelines for design, release, and general availability of new packaged offerings.
  • Adoption of offers across global Sales teams and regional delivery organizations.
  • Growth in packaged services revenue and pipeline contribution.
  • Delivery efficiency and margin health of packaged offerings at scale.
