This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Project Manager - Project Success based in the United States.
The Technical Project Manager will help clients successfully build, secure, and operate AI infrastructure within environments they own and control. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role that goes beyond traditional project coordination and requires close collaboration with engineering teams and client stakeholders. You will help translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements, decisions, dependencies, risks, and execution plans across AI, infrastructure, data, security, and software delivery. The role involves supporting sophisticated engagements, including AI platform implementations, knowledge and retrieval applications, secure open-source AI systems, and embedded technical partnerships. You will build trusted relationships across technical, operational, and executive audiences while ensuring technical execution remains aligned with business objectives. Success will require strong technical curiosity, excellent communication, disciplined project management, and the ability to navigate enterprise constraints and complex client environments. This is a fully remote U.S. opportunity offering meaningful exposure to advanced AI technologies, open-source ecosystems, and large-scale technical transformation.

Accountabilities:
- Partner closely with engineers, clients, and account leaders to understand technical objectives, clarify project needs, and proactively address execution challenges.
- Participate in design-level technical discussions and accurately capture requirements, decisions, dependencies, risks, tradeoffs, priorities, and success criteria.
- Help clients define where their data resides, who owns it, how it can be accessed, and which business processes and use cases should be supported by AI.
- Track and manage constraints related to data sovereignty, on-premises infrastructure, air-gapped environments, security, compliance, procurement, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain shared visibility into project plans, priorities, deliverables, decisions, dependencies, risks, and overall project status.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations, business leadership, and executive teams.
- Ensure technical deliverables remain aligned with documented client requirements, priorities, and business objectives.
- Identify risks, unresolved decisions, dependencies, and project challenges early, helping teams establish clear paths toward resolution.
- Support transitions from implementation into ongoing operations through documentation, technical handoffs, and support planning.
- Work with account leaders to identify opportunities for expansion, renewal, and deeper client collaboration.
- Share lessons learned, best practices, and reusable delivery approaches across the broader Project Success organization.
Requirements
- Professional experience partnering with engineering teams in a highly technical, customer-facing environment, such as technical project management, technical program management, consulting, delivery leadership, or a comparable role.
- Ability to participate confidently in design-level technical conversations and accurately document requirements, decisions, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs.
- Comfortable working with developer tooling, including reading and commenting on pull requests, writing scripts or lightweight automation, using Git or GitHub, and leveraging AI coding assistants to improve personal productivity.
- Experience with Python and SQL is a plus.
- Technical breadth across several areas such as cloud or on-premises infrastructure, containers, orchestration, networking, GPU compute, data engineering, data pipelines, enterprise integrations, AI/ML systems, software security, vulnerability management, application delivery, DevOps, or platform operations.
- Meaningful technical depth in at least one of the above areas, combined with the curiosity and adaptability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently with engineers, business stakeholders, and executive audiences.
- Experience coordinating work across technical teams, clients, account teams, and other business partners.
- Proven ability to identify and track technical risks, dependencies, constraints, priorities, and project success criteria.
- Comfort operating within enterprise environments involving security reviews, restricted or controlled environments, procurement processes, compliance requirements, and other regulatory constraints.
- Excellent written communication, organization, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new technical concepts in complex and evolving environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or another related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting Fortune 50 or other large enterprise clients is preferred.
- Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
- Experience guiding projects from discovery and implementation through operational handoff and ongoing support is preferred.
- Consulting or professional-services experience is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
