Position Title: Product Manager

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Location: Oakville, Ontario

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful launch and lifecycle management of SteriMax products. Working closely with the Director of Marketing and cross-functional teams, you will assist in formulating strategic plans, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring product performance aligns with business objectives.

The position is full-time, reports to the Director of Marketing and may involve domestic travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the creation and execution of marketing plans for new product launches, including product positioning, target audience, campaign, key messaging, and marketing collateral.
  • Work with the sales team to provide product training and support to drive successful product adoption in the market.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining demand forecasts for new product launches including monitoring changes in market trends and competition.
  • Collaborates with BD, Marketing and Sales team to assess new product opportunities
  • Responsible for identifying unique product requirements including packaging, labeling, patient support programs, and additional studies that meet customer needs and working with internal team members for successful execution of these requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market share, and customer feedback and make recommendations on marketing strategies.
  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of existing products, including product updates, line extensions, and discontinuations.

  • Assist in managing corporate marketing strategies including website, social media, and conferences.
  • Participate in relevant conferences, customer meetings and industry events to support continued learning and development

  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical market including healthcare trends, competitors, and regulatory landscape.
  • Proficient with MS Office and data reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management, marketing, or related fields.
