What you can expect as a Claims Business Analyst:

  • Analyze claims data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes impacting claim severity, leakage, cycle time, re-open rates, expense management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Claims Operations, Quality Assurance, SIU, Finance, and leadership to translate business questions into analytical requirements and success metrics.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve claims handling practices, reduce operational risk, and enhance efficiency across theclaimslifecycle.
  • Monitor emerging trends in claims performance and proactively communicate insights, risks, and opportunities to claims leadership.
  • Perform detailed analysis toidentifycost drivers, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring communication to adjusters, managers, and executives.

What we are looking for as a Claims Business Analyst :

  • Bachelor’s degree in DataAnalytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or relatedfield.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in insurance or claims operations.
  • Proficiencyin SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
