As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend applications. You will work closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design effective solutions, and deliver production-ready software.

The role requires strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, and distributed systems, along with a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. You will also contribute to code quality, system optimization, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

  • Build and enhance microservices-based architectures for enterprise-scale applications.
  • Develop reliable solutions for high-traffic and low-latency distributed environments.
  • Design and implement APIs and backend services following scalable architecture principles.
  • Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda for application development and deployment.
  • Analyze and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and production issues.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and testable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
  • Apply appropriate data structures and algorithms to solve complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Design solutions leveraging PaaS and cloud infrastructure capabilities.
  • Contribute to system design discussions, architecture improvements, and technology evaluations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

What Makes You a Great Fit• 5–9 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

  • Strong command of Core Java, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
  • Strong practical knowledge of AWS, particularly EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and related cloud services.
  • Experience building applications for high-traffic, low-latency environments.
  • Good understanding of cloud-native development and PaaS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of backend architecture, API development, scalability, performance optimization, and system reliability.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.
  • Strong coding, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
