The Role
We are looking for an experienced Security Architect / Cloud Security Architect who combines strong architectural thinking with hands-on technical security experience.
For us, that combination matters.
We are not looking for someone who has worked only with governance, frameworks and documentation. We are looking for someone who understands the technology behind the architecture and is comfortable working with engineers, security teams and customers to turn security requirements into practical solutions.
You will help customers design, secure and improve cloud and hybrid environments, make critical technical security decisions, and support security transformation initiatives from architecture and assessment through implementation.
What you'll be doing
Depending on the customer and assignment, you may:
- Design security architectures for cloud and hybrid environments
- Design and improve Zero Trust architectures
- Work with cloud security platforms and technologies across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- Work with technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Wiz and other CNAPP/EDR/XDR platforms
- Design and improve SIEM, security monitoring and detection capabilities
- Perform technical security, cloud and risk assessments
- Design cloud security controls, hardening strategies and security guardrails
- Work with CNAPP, CSPM and CWPP capabilities
- Support vulnerability and exposure management initiatives
- Design security around networks, infrastructure, identities and cloud workloads
- Support incident response and security operations from an architectural perspective
- Work with DevSecOps teams on security automation, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD security
- Translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions
- Act as a senior technical advisor in customer engagements
What we're looking for
You probably have around 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a background combining technical security and architecture.
Your career may have developed through roles such as:
Security Engineer → Cloud Security Engineer → Lead Security Engineer → Security Architect
What matters most to us is not the exact job titles you have held, but that your architectural capability is built on a strong technical foundation.
We are particularly interested in experience across several of the following areas:
- Security architecture and technical security design
- Cloud security architecture
- Microsoft Azure and/or AWS security
- Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Wiz or similar security platforms
- Zero Trust
- CNAPP / CSPM / CWPP
- Cloud security controls and hardening
- Vulnerability and exposure management
- SIEM / EDR / XDR
- Incident response and security operations
- DevSecOps and security automation
- Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform
- Network and infrastructure security
- Hybrid cloud security
Nice to have
Experience in some of the following would be a plus:
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud / Defender XDR
- Microsoft Sentinel
- AWS Security Services
- Palo Alto Prisma Cloud
- CrowdStrike
- Wiz
- Kubernetes and container security
- Threat modelling
- Security architecture frameworks
- ISO 27001
- NIS2
- PCI DSS
- Designing or transforming SOC, SIEM or XDR solutions
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500 or equivalent
- Swedish Language Skills
The kind of person we think will thrive
You are comfortable discussing security strategy and architecture with senior stakeholders, and equally comfortable sitting down with engineers to work through how the solution should actually be implemented.
You understand governance, risk and security frameworks, but technology is where you built your foundation.
You are curious, pragmatic and comfortable taking ownership of complex security challenges where there is not always an obvious answer.
You don't need to know every technology on our list. What matters is that you have strong security fundamentals, deep experience in some areas and the ability to quickly understand new technologies and environments.
If you want to combine architecture, engineering and customer advisory work in the same role, we'd like to hear from you.
