Job Description

Are you an experienced Apache Kafka DevOps Engineer looking for your next challenge? Join as in Lisbon and contribute to the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of a critical data streaming platform.

Your Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and evolve the Apache Kafka platform.
  • Work on cluster architecture, including Brokers, KRaft, replication, and min.insync.replicas.
  • Configure and manage Kafka Connect and Schema Registry using Avro and JSON.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, including mTLS and ACLs.
  • Optimize platform performance through JVM tuning, retention settings, and cleanup policies.
  • Manage storage solutions and Persistent Volumes.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and drive continuous platform improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Apache Kafka administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills.
