Senior Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, business-critical initiatives spanning enterprise systems, digital transformation, and organizational performance. You will own a portfolio of high-impact projects and translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and successful delivery. The position sits at the intersection of business and technology, requiring you to connect executive priorities with technical execution across diverse teams. You will oversee enterprise implementations involving e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, APIs, databases, cloud integrations, and modern technology environments. Beyond project delivery, you will help strengthen PMO practices, establish standards, and mentor project management talent across the organization. You will work closely with C-suite executives, technical specialists, and cross-functional stakeholders while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and expectations. Accountabilities

• Own and successfully deliver a portfolio of mission-critical projects aligned with strategic business objectives and key performance indicators.

• Develop comprehensive project roadmaps that translate enterprise priorities into clear milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and outcomes.

• Lead complex enterprise implementations involving e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, APIs, databases, cloud integrations, and other digital technologies.

• Drive measurable value creation by optimizing business processes, reducing costs, improving operational efficiency, and accelerating time-to-market.

• Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating technical concepts into business implications and business requirements into actionable technical direction.

• Select and apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum, based on project scope, complexity, and organizational context.

• Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes using structured frameworks, RAID logs, and predictive analysis.

• Establish, document, and promote project management best practices to improve delivery standards and strengthen organizational PMO maturity.

• Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional project teams, establishing clear roles, accountability, priorities, and delivery expectations.

• Mentor and develop junior project managers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and practical guidance.

• Communicate project progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to C-suite executives, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle and maintain transparent communication across all levels.

• Monitor project performance against timelines, budgets, scope, quality standards, and expected business outcomes.

• Apply structured problem-solving and proactive planning to anticipate obstacles and develop effective solutions before they impact delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive project management experience, including ownership of complex enterprise initiatives and project portfolios.

• PMP certification is mandatory.

• Agile or Scrum certification such as CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or an equivalent credential.

• MBA from a recognized institution is preferred or required based on the applicable hiring criteria.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proven experience managing enterprise software implementations, system integrations, and digital transformation programs.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento.

• Experience with ERP platforms such as Blue Cherry, SAP, or NetSuite.

• Strong technical understanding of API architectures, system integrations, databases, cloud platforms, and modern technology stacks.

• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, Jira, or comparable platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, teams, dependencies, and competing priorities.

• Strong risk, issue, change, dependency, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong leadership presence and the ability to build trust and accountability across cross-functional teams.

• Proven people management, mentoring, and team development capabilities.

• Strong execution discipline, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Highly proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate problems, identify opportunities, and design practical solutions.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities, technologies, and business requirements may evolve.

• Ability to work according to U.S. business hours with the flexibility required to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
