In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with Global Engineering Centers and EPC stakeholders to position Emerson as a preferred partner.
- Drive early engagement in project lifecycles to embed Measurement Solutions products into specifications, standards, and material requisitions.
- Develop and execute structured account plans, including stakeholder mapping, project pipeline tracking, and qualification strategies.
- Collaborate across global teams, including sales, marketing, product, and strategic account teams, to align pursuit strategies and deliver customer value.
- Lead technical discussions, workshops, and training sessions to build customer capability and strengthen product adoption.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and account information in CRM tools to support data-driven decision-making and forecasting.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to inform strategy and innovation.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including specification success rate, pipeline growth, and customer engagement outcomes.
- Develop and execute training plans for assigned Global Engineering Center, delivering awareness, application, and advanced technical training tailored to client seniority and discipline mix. Leverage Emerson’s training organization, Application Specialists, and Product Marketing. Position training as a strategic specification and preference tool. Track execution and measure outcomes including specification activity, stakeholder coverage, and client feedback.
- Partner with Global Strategic Account teams to align pursuit strategies, commercial positioning, and stakeholder messaging for shared accounts. Regularly share account and project pipeline updates and support the execution of global approved vendor list qualification, Global Frame Agreement utilization, and licensor engagement activities at the local Global Engineering Center level.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant technical field (such as instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering).
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience required; 10+ years preferred.
- Experience in industrial automation, process measurement, or related industries, with exposure to EPC or owner-operator environments.
- Understanding of the project lifecycle, including engineering design, specification development, and procurement processes.
- Experience engaging with engineering teams on technical specifications, vendor qualification, or project pursuit activities.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and deliver engaging presentations or training sessions.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and a data-driven approach to managing pipelines and customer interactions.
- Willingness and ability to travel as part of the role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technical training or product capability sessions to engineering audiences, including drafting structured, multi-level training plans.
- Experience engaging or coordinating with strategic or major account management teams on shared accounts including aligning pursuit strategies and sharing structured account intelligence.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience working with or within EPC organizations or Global Engineering Centers.
- Knowledge of Measurement Solutions technologies (flow, pressure, temperature, level, analytical, or systems) or similar product portfolios.
- Exposure to industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience with engineering tools or platforms used for specification and design (e.g., SmartPlant, AVEVA).
- Demonstrated ability to work across global teams and influence without direct authority.
- Experience supporting global approved vendor list qualification efforts, Global Frame Agreement utilization, or licensor engagement programs at a local or regional level.
