This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analytics Engineer based in the United States.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing Analytics Engineer role embedded with an enterprise client’s growth team.You will own critical data workflows end to end, from audience building and campaign support to data investigation and scalable modeling.The role is highly SQL-focused and combines technical execution with close collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.You will have significant ownership as the client transitions to a new cloud environment, creating opportunities to redesign pipelines and automate recurring processes.The environment is fast-paced, with weekly deadlines, shifting priorities, and a strong emphasis on responsiveness and measurable customer impact.You will act as both a technical partner and strategic thought partner, helping improve how data is used to support marketing and business outcomes.This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, improving systems, and taking ownership rather than waiting for perfectly defined tasks.

Accountabilities:
- Build, maintain, and debug complex SQL queries that power audience creation and email and direct mail campaigns.
- Work closely with an enterprise client to understand its business objectives, data environment, technical challenges, and operational requirements.
- Design and implement scalable data models supporting analytical and operational use cases.
- Investigate data discrepancies, compare datasets and tables, analyze deltas, and identify the root causes of data issues.
- Support live campaign workflows and recurring weekly deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
- Contribute to the migration to a new cloud data environment by rebuilding recurring processes and improving existing workflows.
- Automate manual data processes and develop more scalable, reliable, and repeatable pipelines and tooling.
- Partner with client stakeholders to provide technical guidance and help shape data-driven business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, tooling, data quality, and operational efficiency.
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned data workflows and contribute beyond the immediate scope when doing so helps deliver better outcomes for the customer.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience writing, reading, and debugging complex SQL queries in a production environment.
- Strong practical experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals, including data pipelines, ETL, reverse ETL, event streaming, and data modeling.
- Ability to investigate complex data issues and translate business questions into practical technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and developing a deep understanding of their business and data needs.
- Highly responsive and organized, with the ability to deliver reliably against recurring deadlines and quickly shifting priorities.
- Strong ownership mentality and high agency, with a demonstrated ability to identify problems, make decisions, and drive solutions through to completion.
- Comfortable operating in environments characterized by ambiguity, complexity, rapid change, and incomplete information.
- Curious, adaptable, collaborative, and willing to provide direct and constructive feedback while continuously developing technical skills.
- Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without visa sponsorship.
