This role is to support integration of AI, automation, and technology into HSW processes, enhancing safety, quality and efficiency. This role deploys innovative tools and manages HSW data strategy. It involves remote work, process‑driven guidance to external/internal stakeholders, maintaining high standards of administrative accuracy and data management across all HSW systems.
As a Data Analyst to execute the integration of AI and emerging technologies, strengthen data foundations, and deliver analytics that drive smarter, safer, and more efficient operations. Support in building key digital capabilities, and ensure AI is deployed ethically, responsibly, and at scale.
The role reports directly to the HSW and dotted reports to the L&E Manager, Regional HSW Operations Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in Standardization and Automation of workflows for approvals, reminder emails, and automated notifications into HSW processes/operations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technological enhancements to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes.
- Support in deployment, operation, and sustainment of Cority
- Enhancement of HSW automated tools and technologies aimed at preventing HSW incidents and improving HSW maturity.
- Support HSW data strategy and governance, including data collection, analysis, and centralized reporting practices.
- Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support compliance and operational decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reporting for business updates
- Adept at translating business requirements into scalable, governed data solutions with a strong focus on data accuracy, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Improve HSW intelligence using advanced data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create actionable insights through reporting, visualization, and performance metrics to drive decision-making and risk management.
Key Qualifications and Professional Certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience integrating technology, AI, or automation into HSW, EHS, or related processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computers, Data Science Engineering or related fields, with experience in HSW, EHS, Risk Management, or a related field desirable.
- Preferred knowledge of AI tools, data analytics platforms, and automation technologies (e.g., Cority, Sphera).
- Able to assist in implementing emerging technologies to solve work challenges.
- Experienced in cloud data platforms, BI tools, and AI technologies, Data governance, privacy, and responsible AI preferred.
- Product mindset, ability to work across technical and business teams, and strong communication, problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and visualizing data to create actionable insights across a global landscape.
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and the dynamic, complex nature of working
