About InSite Health

InSite Health is on a mission to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care for students and families. Our engineering team builds the technology that powers clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and meaningful outcomes across the schools and communities we serve.

We’re looking for a product manager to help us build the next version of our platform used by schools to refer students for mental health services.

You’ll work closely with our product leadership, UX, engineering, and clinical/operations teams to translate real-world needs into intuitive, scalable user experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and conduct user interviews and synthesize what you learn into product decisions
  • Coordinate with UX/design to turn user needs into clear, usable solutions
  • Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and keep the backlog groomed and prioritized
  • Partner daily with developers to shape, scope, and deliver features
  • Perform feature QA, validating work against requirements before it ships
  • Participate in release management: coordinating release readiness, communicating changes, and following up on how releases land
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and users, and help the team weigh trade-offs against our mission and capacity
  • Track and share outcomes so the team can see what’s working

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or a closely related role (for example, tech lead or customer success manager looking to get into product management)
  • Strong written communication, especially clear, testable user stories
  • Comfort working directly with engineers in an agile environment
  • Curiosity about users and the ability to run effective interviews
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to QA
  • Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-moving, small-team setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in EdTech or health tech
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment, ideally building 0-1 software
  • Experience with industry standard product tools such as Figma, Jira, Claude, and Amplitude
  • Data analytics skills

What makes you a great fit

You care about the mission, enjoy the details of shipping software, and want to work in a place where you’ll wear many hats and learn quickly. You’re a good collaborator who gives and receives feedback openly.
