Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team in a hands-on contract role with strong potential for long-term engagement. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and reliability of our enterprise network infrastructure while driving continuous improvements across networking platforms and operations.The ideal candidate is a highly skilled networking professional with deep expertise in Cisco technologies and a strong track record of independently troubleshooting complex network issues. While this is not a CCIE-level role, it requires an engineer who can confidently perform deep technical investigations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in complex environments.This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational support with strategic improvements and wants to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced and evolving organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on network support, including day-to-day troubleshooting, break-fix activities, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
  • Perform root cause analysis for network outages, performance issues, and recurring incidents.
  • Support and enhance Cisco-based networking environments, including routing, switching, and software-defined networking solutions.
  • Leverage automation and monitoring tools to improve network reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and recommend improvements to network architecture and processes.
  • Work independently to investigate complex technical challenges and drive issues through resolution.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to support organizational initiatives and business objectives.
  • Document configurations, troubleshooting processes, and technical recommendations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
