Job Summary

This position supports the design, configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and security of enterprise network infrastructure, with particular emphasis on HPE/Aruba wireless systems and network access control. The role is suited to a developing network professional with approximately 2–3 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Responsibilities 

  • Configure, manage, troubleshoot, and support enterprise firewall infrastructure.
  • Support Cisco routing and switching technologies in LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
  • Assist with network architecture, design, configuration, deployment, documentation, and upgrades.
  • Configure and manage HPE/Aruba switches and related network infrastructure.
  • Manage and troubleshoot HPE/Aruba wireless infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-managed environments.
  • Administer and support AAA / Network Access Control services, including HPE/Aruba ClearPass or comparable platforms.
  • Support Windows Server administration and configuration as it relates to network services and authentication.
  • Apply network security best practices and assist with maintaining secure network configurations.
  • Perform network troubleshooting using packet capture and analysis tools; support firmware and software upgrades.
  • Assist with implementation of new networks and expansion or modification of existing networks.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience supporting or managing enterprise network environments.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing HPE/Aruba wireless infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-managed environments.
  • 2–3 years of working knowledge administering AAA servers / Network Access Control platforms such as HPE/Aruba ClearPass.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, and cloud networking.
  • Working knowledge of routing protocols and concepts, including EIGRP and BGP.
  • Knowledge of network design and architecture principles, including deployment of new networks and extension of existing networks.
  • Hands-on network troubleshooting skills, including packet capture, traffic analysis, and firmware upgrades.
  • Experience with Aruba enterprise wireless technologies such as access points, controllers/gateways, management platforms, RADIUS, and related services.
  • Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
