Java Architect Las Vegas NV Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee end-to-end Java-based application architectures aligned with business goals
- Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and architectural assessments
- Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns for development teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Evaluate and recommend frameworks, tools, and technologies to optimize system performance
- Mentor and guide senior and junior developers on architectural principles and Java best practices
- Oversee integration of microservices, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure
Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience with a strong architectural background
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and related Java ecosystems
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
