Full description

TheGuarantors is looking for a Senior Product Manager to partner with our operations teams to improve manual processes and build the best experience for landlords and renters.

As a Senior PM, you will own meaningful product surfaces and the workflows behind them across renters, landlords, and internal operations. You will collaborate with operations, underwriting, design, engineering, finance, and customer success to improve the product experience, streamline operations, and apply AI and automation where they make the biggest difference.

This is an ideal role for a strong product manager who is excited to take ownership, comfortable operating in ambiguity, close to customers and operators, rigorous with data, and eager to apply AI to real operational problems.

The Role

This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Product. The Senior PM will own the roadmap for their product area end to end, working across operations, underwriting, engineering, and vendors to improve how TG operates.

This role is for you if you want:

  • Operational problems to solve: Many of TG's core workflows still rely on manual workflows. You will define how they should work and build the products that make it happen.
  • Applied AI: You will apply AI and automation on manual, operational workflows to streamline processes.
  • Meaningful impact: What you build will directly shape how quickly deals close, how efficiently TG scales, and how landlords and renters experience our products.

What You'll Own

  • Product roadmap: strategy, discovery, requirements, and delivery for your product area across renter, landlord, and internal operations experiences.
  • Operational process discovery and improvement: mapping manual workflows with operations and underwriting teams and redesigning them end to end.
  • AI and automation implementation: leading the rollout of AI solutions, including vendor evaluation, requirements, and how people and automated tools work together.
  • Customer experience outcomes: connecting process improvements to faster, more reliable experiences for landlords and renters.
  • Metrics ownership: defining and tracking success across cycle time, manual touches, error rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management spanning operations, underwriting, engineering, finance, and external vendors.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 8+ years in product management, with a track record of owning products end to end and shipping work that moved key business metrics.
  • Proven ability to translate complex operational processes into product requirements, including direct experience conducting process discovery with operations teams.
  • Strong cross-functional stakeholder management, with a track record of aligning operations, engineering, and business teams around shared outcomes.
  • A strong customer focus, with the ability to connect internal process improvements to a better landlord and renter experience.
  • Practical understanding of where AI and automation work well and where they do not.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including with executive stakeholders and external partners.

Preferred

  • Hands-on experience shipping an AI or LLM-based product or agent into production.
  • Background in insurance, insuretech, or a highly regulated fintech environment, especially underwriting or risk workflows.
  • Experience in residential real estate or proptech.
  • PM experience with process automation or workflow tooling (e.g., Decagon).
  • Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth scaling environment.

Benefits

  • Opportunities to make an impact within a fast growing company
  • Medical, dental, & vision insurance, beginning day one
  • Health savings account with employer contribution
  • Flexible spending accounts (healthcare, dependent care, commuter)
  • 401(k)
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • In-office lunch perk
  • Flexible working hours
  • Paid parental leave
  • Company sponsored short and long term disability

Base Salary

The base salary range is between $190,000 - $215,000 annually.

Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location and current market data and may vary from the range above.
