Description

DTSV is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to support a headquarters professional support services program for our Customer, a Federal agency. This position serves as the primary Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. The program provides approximately two hundred (200) professional support personnel across the Customer's nine (9) headquarters offices in the Greater Washington, DC region, with growth expected over the life of the contract. The role implements and manages Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards to ensure high-quality deliverables, and removes impediments to the teams' progress.

The Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master shall be responsible for the following:

  • Serve as the primary Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
  • Foster an environment that encourages collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and manage QMS in alignment with ISO 9001 standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments that may hinder the teams' progress.
  • Protect the teams from external distractions.
  • Prepare written communication in accordance with the Customer's writing guide, free of typos, grammar discrepancies, and formatting flaws.

This is an on-site position located in Washington, DC. The salary range for this position is $125,000 to $145,000 annually.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Cizitien
  • Five (5) years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum practices.
  • Proven track record of implementing a QMS in compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency using standard Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, and Power BI.
  • Bachelor's degree, or nine (9) years of experience.
  • Agile or Scrum certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, or CSP).
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.

Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office environment. Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Required to use a computer throughout the work.
